Mr. Kunz also shared his conviction with those present at the conference that "Smart cards are an important business enabler and with this Health Care Card project. With the innovative roadmap including digital signature using public key infrastructure Taiwan has set a world class benchmark for all future projects. The card will be able to store up to 32Kbytes of information such as personal information, health insurance information, data concerning medical services and the public health administration. These include records of the last six visits to the hospital and medical expenses.
